The traffic separation scheme in the Strait of Juan de Fuca consists of five parts: the western lanes, southern lanes, northern lanes, eastern lanes, and precautionary area ``PA.'' These parts are described in Secs. 167.1311 through 167.1315. The geographic coordinates in Secs. 167.1311 through 167.1315 are defined using North American Datum (NAD 83).
