(a) General. The case status system used in administering benefits under the chapter 31 program, as provided in Sec. 21.180 through Sec. 21.198 of this part, will be utilized in a similar manner in this program subject to the provisions of paragraph (b) of this section. (b) Limitations of applicability of chapter 31 rules. (1) The provisions of Sec. 21.180(e)(2) and (3), Sec. 21.188, and Sec. 21.192 of this part are not applicable to this temporary program;
