Code of Federal Regulations (alpha)

CFR /  Title 39  /  Part 3001  /  Sec. 3001.3 Scope of rules.

Except as otherwise provided in Sec. 3001.71, the rules of practice in this part are applicable to proceedings before the Postal Regulatory Commission under the Act, including those which involve a hearing on the record before the Commission or its designated presiding officer and, as specified in part 3005 of this chapter to the procedures for compelling the production of information by the Postal Service. They do not preclude the informal disposition of any matters coming before the Commission not required by statute to be determined upon notice and hearing. [79 FR 33406, June 10, 2014]
