(a) The requirements of this subpart apply to tank systems for storing or treating hazardous secondary material excluded under the remanufacturing exclusion at Sec. 261.4(a)(27).
(b) Tank systems, including sumps, as defined in Sec. 260.10, that serve as part of a secondary containment system to collect or contain releases of hazardous secondary materials are exempted from the requirements in Sec. 261.193(a).
