(1) The chemical substance identified generically as slimes and sludges, aluminum and iron casting, wastewater treatment, solid waste (PMN P-12-560; CAS No. 1391739-82-4; chemical substance definition: The waste solids produced from the treatment of wastewaters during aluminum and iron casting, machining and finishing operations. It may contain aluminum, barium, chromium, copper, iron, lead, manganese, nickel, and zinc.) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in paragraph (a)(2) of this section.

(b) Specific requirements. The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
(1) Recordkeeping. Recordkeeping requirements as specified in Sec. 721.125(a), (b), (c), and (i) are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this substance.
