Many categories of personal property have special handling requirements in compliance with applicable Federal, state, and local regulations and ordinances for their handling, transportation, storage, disposal and use. See appendix A to this part for a listing of Federal Supply Classifications (FSCs) containing predominately hazardous items and appendix B to this part for a listing of FSCs containing a significant number of hazardous items.
