The renewal procedures described in Sec. 435.916 of this chapter apply equally to the State in administering a separate CHIP, except that the State shall verify information needed to renew CHIP eligibility in accordance with Sec. 457.380 of this subpart, shall provide notice regarding the State's determination of renewed eligibility or termination in accordance with Sec. 457.340(e) of this subpart and shall comply with the requirements set forth in Sec. 457.350 of this subpart for screening individuals for other insurance affordability programs and transmitting such individuals' electronic account and other relevant information to the appropriate program.
