This subpart applies to the specified geographic region defined by all Beaufort Sea waters east of a north-south line through Point Barrow (71[deg]23[min]29[sec] N, -156 [deg]28[sec]30 W, BGN 1944), and up to 200 miles north of Point Barrow, including all Alaska coastal areas, State waters, and Outer Continental Shelf waters east of that line to the Canadian border. The onshore region is the same north/south line at Barrow, 25 miles inland and east to the Canning River. The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is not included in the area covered by this subpart.
