The Secretary shall select producer, handler, cooperative bargaining association(s), and public members and alternate members in the number specified in 989.26, as applicable, and with the qualifications specified in Sec. 989.27. Such selections may be made from nominations certified pursuant to Sec. 989.29 or from other eligible producers, handlers, or cooperative bargaining association(s) officers or employees.
