A certification that is completed, signed and dated in accordance with the requirements listed in Sec. 10.411 of this subpart will be accepted by CBP as valid for four years from the date on which the certification was signed. If the port director determines that a certification is illegible or defective or has not been completed in accordance with Sec. 10.411 of this subpart, the importer will be given a period of not less than five business days to submit a corrected certification.
