CFR /  Title 34  /  Part 350  /  Sec. 350.51 What is the purpose of peer review?

The purpose of peer review is to insure that--

(a) Those activities supported by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) are of the highest scientific, administrative, and technical quality; and

(b) Activity results may be widely applied to appropriate target populations and rehabilitation problems. (Authority: Sec. 202(e); 29 U.S.C. 761a(e))
