(a) A facility must provide or obtain from an outside resource, in accordance with Sec. 51.210(h) of this part, routine and emergency dental services to meet the needs of each resident;
(b) A facility may charge a resident an additional amount for routine and emergency dental services; and
(c) A facility must, if necessary, assist the resident--
(1) In making appointments;
(2) By arranging for transportation to and from the dental services; and
(3) Promptly refer residents with lost or damaged dentures to a dentist. (Authority: 38 U.S.C. 101, 501, 1710, 1741-1743)
