Except for individuals described in Sec. 436.406(a)(1)(v), FFP will not be available to a State with respect to expenditures for medical assistance furnished to individuals unless the State has obtained satisfactory documentary evidence of citizenship or national status, as described in Sec. 436.407 of this chapter that complies with the requirements of section 1903(x) of the Act.
