(a) Each mineral patent application must include the processing fee found in the fee schedule in Sec. 3000.12 of this chapter to cover BLM's adjudication costs for the application.
(b) As provided at Sec. 3800.5 of this chapter, BLM will charge a separate processing fee on a case-by-case basis as described in Sec. 3000.11 of this chapter to cover its costs for conducting and preparing the validity examination and report. [70 FR 58879, Oct. 7, 2005]
